LIVEWIRE
Went down to the newly reopened Robin 2 recently to see ‘Livewire’, as they’re doin’ a ‘Bon Scott’ Tour! Nearly 2 hours worth of tracks, both album and hits, as it’s 25 years since his death. So many tracks, too many to list but included ‘Sin City’, ‘The Jack’, ‘Problem Child’, ‘Highway to Hell’ and ‘Let there be rock’! It was a fantastic treat for any AC/DC fan, bringing back memories for most, especially with the new Robin stage being lower with a flat floor was a bit like the old ‘Brum’ Odeon from years back? So as the singer or ‘Bon alike’? jumps into the crowd during ‘Sin City’ and finds the only drunken guy who doesn’t know the words, I think this must have been what it was like to see ‘DC’ in the 70’s? High point of the night was ‘Let there be rock’ when both ‘Bon alike’? And ‘Angus’ on his shoulders go right round the Robin’s floor to the amazement of most! Later the encore changes to ‘Brian Johnson’ era with a second singer to do ‘Hells Bells’, ‘Back in Black’ and ‘For those about to Rock’! Givin’ ‘Bon’ a well deserved rest! So after more than 2¼ hours I’m all ‘DC’d’ out and ready for bed! Nice one Guys! Cheers Lee Man
